What Is an Armor Stand In Minecraft?

An armor stand is an item that came out in the 1.8 update. As the name suggest, an armor stand is used to place armo, and is very easy to make. It can be used to display various items, including: elytra, armor, carved pumpkin, etc…

Note: You can put any armor on an armor stand, including: Diamond, Netherite, Iron, Leather, Chain.

How To Make an Armor Stand In Minecraft?

Things That You Need: 

1. Stick:

  • Break a tree, and collect the logs.
  • Open crafting table or inventory crafting table.
  • Place the log in any cell and pick up the planks.
  • Open crafting table or inventory crafting table.
  • Place a plank in any cell and another plank directly above or below it.
  • Pick the stick up or move it to your inventory.

2. Smooth Stone Slab:

  • Open the furnace and place stone in the input cell.
  • After some time, your smooth stone will be ready.
  • Open the crafting table and place smooth stone in any column.
  • Pick the smooth stone slab or move it to your inventory.

Stone For Smooth Stone:

When walking around in the game, if you encounter any stone make sure to mine it appropriately. When you do this, you will get cobblestone. Burn it in the furnace to get stone. If you mine stone with a silk touch enchanted pickaxe, you can get stone directly instead of cobbletstone.   • Open crafting table.
  • Place a stick and smooth stone as shown in the picture above.

How to Use An Armor Stand?

For Placing Armor In Java Edition:
Pick an armor part in your hand and right-click on the armor stand.
For Placing Armor In Minecraft Pocket Edition (PE):
Pick an armor part in your hand and after going close to the stand, an “equip” button will appear. Click on the button.
For Placing Armor In Bedrock:
